Tours Package Deal 2 in 1 – Sigatoka River Cruise & Cannibal ‘Nahehe’ Cave Tour

from

$120 AUD PER PERSON

MINIMUM PEOPLE PER BOOKING: 3 to 4

MAXIMUM PEOPLE PER BOOKING: 30

Cruise the majestic Sigatoka River and feel the breeze to refresh your mind and the beauty it possesses. The 120 kilometer river is a life line for the Fijian people. They rely on it for much of their food: mussels, prawns, eels, fish and water for agriculture and drinking. As you journey further along the river there are farmlands where women do their washing, children play and men keep their horses cool and clean. Experience local Fijian culture at the Raravou village then take a bamboo raft or boat to other side of the river and discover the fortress of Fiji’s last cannibal tribes as you explore the Nahehe caves. The cave environment is comfortable, with easy access, plenty of fresh air and no bats or creepy-crawlies. You will see a ritual platform, priest chamber and cannibal’s oven. It’s pretty an awesome adventure to do!
